Neal Rosen Senior Vice President Neal Rosen serves as co-head of the investor relations practice at Ruder-Finn West. He joined Ruder Finn with the merger of his 20+year-old investor relations firm into Ruder-Finn in 2007. He has served public and pre-IPO companies in a number of sectors, including healthcare technology, financial services, real estate, retail/consumer and natural resources. In the healthcare sector, his recent pre-IPO experience includes FoxHollow Technologies and Volcano Corporation. Current clients served in the sector include Volcano, Thoratec, ThermoGenesis and Arcadia Biosciences. Other relevant experience includes Beckman Coulter, Varian Medical and XDx, Inc. His prior client experience includes Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, Levi Strauss, The Men’s Wearhouse, Levi Strauss, Hilton Hotels and companies in the software, semiconductor and computer sectors. Prior to opening his own firm in 1985, Neal helped open the Los Angeles office of Fleishman-Hillard, one of the nation’s largest public relations firms, and supervised both the corporate/financial relations and consumer marketing/public affairs client groups. Before that, he was associated with Burson-Marsteller, Fairchild Camera & Instrument Corporation and leading regional agencies in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. He also has extensive print journalism experience with United Press International and metropolitan daily newspapers. He received a B.S. from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, and serves on the school’s Advisory Council. He is a current board member, and former president, of the San Francisco chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). |
